*Call centres are predominantly known for excessive noise due to the nature of the job and continuous use of the phones. Therefore, it is important that all aspects of acoustics are considered to reduce the reverberation time and increase focus and productivity. The key requirement for this client (apart from reducing sound) was to add colour and style to the office.

 

The building had naturally high ceilings and a lack of absorbing surfaces. We were able to establish the right amount of coverage to significantly improve the acoustics and decrease the reverberation time by absorbing some of the unwanted sound into our Eden product. We created a creative area full of bespoke shapes. Some of these incorporated the existing lighting, that hung from a grid to not only be practical but act as a decorative statement for the office. The rectangular Eden ceiling tiles were 64mm thick with an NRC of 0.90 therefore absorbing 90% of the noise that hits them.
