Residual Current Detector (RCD)
QS lights and optional air circulation are supplied by one 13AMP UK 240V plug which terminates from one of the posts. The length of lead from the termination point of the pod to the plug end is speci ed at order stage but is typically 3m long. This plug powers all the lights in the pod ceiling and the optional
air circulation unit together. Attached to the plug lead, near the plug end, is a residual current detector (RCD) which is a safety device designed to ensure the power to the lights is cut-o if an electrical failure occurs. This is included as standard on all pods.
